Wee Camp: Kraft Family YMCA
Summer 2026
Wee Camp is a half-day program for our youngest campers including songs, arts & crafts, games, devotions, outdoor play, and more. We strive to provide safe, fun-filled opportunities for social and skill development.
Wee Camp is open to kids age 2. Wee Camp is located at Penny Road Elementary School (10900 Penny Rd, Cary, NC 27518).

Wee Campers are not required to be potty trained.
A $20 weekly deposit holds your child’s spot.

Wee Camp Details
Rides In
Rides In (Drop off) begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m. Children may not be dropped off prior to 8:30 a.m.
Rides Out
Rides Out (Pick up) begins at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 1 p.m.
Both Rides In and Rides Out take place in the main carpool loop in front of Penny Road Elementary. Staff members will be there to help your children out of your car. If you are dropping off late or picking up early, you can let us know by calling our camp phone at 919-649-4322 and a staff member will come out to assist you.
Parents must present a pick-up card (provided on your child's first day of camp) or an ID as a safety precaution.
Each day at Wee Camp includes indoor and outdoor active play, creative learning (crafts or STEM), social-emotional skill building, music, swimming and station time. We also have a daily assembly time!
Kids eat both snack and lunch at Wee Camp.
Wee Camp Water Day
Wee Camp participates in Water Day on Fridays. Please send your child in their bathing suit with a change of clothes for after water play.
Wacky Wednesday
Every Wednesday we invite your child to dress wacky and fun!
Funky Friday
Every Friday we invite your child to dress in the theme for the week! Check out the weekly newsletter email for more details on the dress for that Friday.
Water Day
Wee Camp participates in Water Day on Fridays. Please send your child in their bathing suit with a change of clothes for after water play.
Nut Free Camp
Wee Camp is a nut free camp. Thank you for your support in keeping all our kids safe!

Meet Jordan
Hi! I'm Jordan, and I am the Director of Kindercamp and Wee Camp. I have worked for the Y for 3 years and became a director at the Kraft Family YMCA in February 2026. I’m originally from Charleston, West Virginia, and I’ve always loved spending summers outdoors and staying active. In my free time, I enjoy going to live sporting events, skiing in the mountains, taking hikes and spending time with family. I’m so excited for a fun-filled summer and can’t wait to meet all of our amazing campers and families!
