Sports Day Camps
YMCA Sports Summer Day Camps offer kids a full summer of basketball, soccer, flag football, baseball or a mix of all sports. Our Sports Day Camps are led by high school and college-aged students who play the sport themselves and who have a passion for coaching kids and being excellent role models.
Traditional Day Camps
Traditional YMCA Summer Day Camps are full-day summer camps held at YMCAs and community locations around the Triangle. These summer camps include a wide variety of activities such as swimming, games, arts and crafts and sports.
Each week of summer camp features a different theme and activities.
Overnight Camp
YMCA Overnight Camps are a home away from home for campers ages 5 - 15.
We have three overnight camps, Camp Kanata in Wake Forest, Camp Sea Gull in Arapahoe and Camp Seafarer in Arapahoe. Our camps on the coast focus on seamanship and offer summer sessions in one, two, or four weeks,
School Holiday Camps
Let your children spend their Teacher Workdays and School Holidays with the YMCA. These days are the perfect break from school.
Track Out Camps
Go on new adventures all year with YMCA Track Out Camps. Our Track Out Camps serve Wake County year-round and modified calendar schools. (Durham County Track Out Camps are expected to resume for the 2024 - 2025 school year.)
