Sports - Adult

The YMCA offers several adult sports teams and leagues including basketball, volleyball and tennis.

YMCA members can also play racquetball and pick-up sports in our gyms. Find pick-up times on the Gym Schedules for your YMCA. 

 

PROGRAM OFFERINGS

Adult Basketball

Whether you're looking to get back on the court or want to take up a new hobby, adult basketball at the YMCA is a fun way to stay active and enjoy teamwork. 

Several of our YMCA locations offer men's, women's and co-ed adult basketball leagues in the spring and fall. Leagues can be recreational or competitive. There are also opportunities for pick-up basketball at many of the branches.

Adult Kickball

Adult Kickball will be offered at the East Triangle YMCA.

Fall League

The season will run for 8 - 9 weeks.

Oct. 8 - Dec. 3 on Saturdays from Noon - 1 p.m.

14 years old is the minimum age required to play.

Adult Pickleball

Pickleball is a sport that uses elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. Players use wooden paddles and a plastic ball with holes. The net is slightly modified and the court is smaller. 

Members, ages 16 and older, may join in on pickup Pickleball.

Adult Racquetball

The YMCA has several racquetball courts at our branches. Racquetball courts are for YMCA members and their guests. 

Adult Tennis

The Hope Valley Farms YMCA offers adult tennis lessons, clinics, cardio classes and court reservations.

Adult Volleyball

Please check branch gym schedules on the website or in the app to confirm days and times for pick-up volleyball. Members are welcome to play at any branch.

 

Kraft Family YMCA

The Kraft Family YMCA will be offering adult coed pickup volleyball at no cost for members.

Thursdays, 6 - 8:45 p.m.

Leprechaun Dash 5k/10k

Join us on March 12 at 8:30 a.m. for the first-ever Leprechaun Dash! This 5K or 10K run raises money for children in Chatham County.
