Finley Day Camp: Sports
Sports Camp at Finley Day Camp is a skill development camp in which campers will choose weekly between soccer, basketball and flag football. Sports Camp athletes will spend morning sessions honing in on their sport-specific abilities and use the afternoons to put them into practice in live game scrimmages. Jump Rope campers will be practicing with the YMCA Super Skippers team. Campers will still get the traditional camp feel with swimming, field trips and other awesome activities, all while becoming well-rounded athletes.
Sports Camp counselors bring athletic experience at the high school or college level. During the summer, campers will get to explore the athletic programs around the area and learn from some of the best in their sport.

Our Counselors
YMCA Summer Day Camp Counselors are hired based on their enthusiasm, energy and maturity. All counselors receive training in everything from managing a group of energetic kids to basic first aid.
