Challenge2

"We love Y Challenge soccer because it allows our son to play in a competitive soccer program while remaining local. The time commitment is appropriate for our son who also has other sports interest. Most importantly, we appreciate the emphasis on skills beyond soccer: character traits of sportsmanship, team play, and respect for others. Y Challenge soccer truly offers the best when considering a sports program."

"We love Y Challenge soccer! We knew early on that our son needed a more competitive soccer program so we checked out several local programs and landed with the U10 Challenge team based out of the Kraft YMCA. He's been with this team for five years now and it’s become an important part of our family. One of the things we love most about the program is the focus on developing each player’s individual skills in a family-friendly and supportive environment. Player development plus teamwork has led to lots of success for the team over the years! When our youngest son was ready to move to the next level of soccer, we didn’t look anywhere else."

"Our family has been blessed to be part of the Triangle Y Soccer Club (TYSC) for three years. We receive all the same advantages as other competitive soccer clubs – excellent training, player development, tournament opportunities and competitive play against other challenge clubs – but with the distinct quality that comes with all YMCA programs. Our children compete at the highest levels while still exhibiting sportsmanship, integrity and character. The bonds that are formed both on and off the field, and between players, parents and siblings, make the TYSC more like a family than a soccer club. We couldn't recommend it more."

"For our son Ryan, being part of the YMCA Challenge team has been a wonderful experience and a true blessing. He has gone from a shy, uninvolved, young boy to becoming a confident teammate. This confidence has continued to both his schoolwork and his musical studies."
