As we resume operations, our group exercise schedules will look a bit different. We’re committed to keeping everyone safe. We’ll continue to monitor information from local and state health officials and add more classes as conditions improve.
For now, group fitness classes will be limited in size. We’ll sanitize any equipment you need before and after class and will help you maintain social distancing throughout the class.
Membership & Reservations required
YMCA membership is required to participate in classes. In order to accommodate everyone, all group fitness classes will require a reservation through our mobile app or online on our schedules page. Reservations open 48 hours before the start of each class and are available until class starts or until all spaces are filled. There’s no fee to sign up, and once you are registered, please show your proof of membership and virtual “ticket” or confirmation email upon arrival in class. This is also the process for reserving a lap lane in any pool that is open, including outdoor pools. Members of the same household may use the same lap lane during their reserved time (look for "Lap Lane | Single Lane" on our web/app schedules. You only need to reserve your lane (up to two 30-minute increments per reserving user) under one person's name on our website or in our mobile app.
We’re here to help
Like any change, we know this is going to feel different. But we’re here to help. You can view this video walkthrough of signup through the app. We also have a handout that helps explain the process, and any of our branch staff can assist you with the process. So please, feel free to ask anyone for help.
In the meantime, we can’t wait to see you back at the branch, and in our group exercise classes. Welcome Back!
