Youth Volleyball

The YMCA offers volleyball for ages 7 - 14. Depending on age and location, teams may be led by volunteer coaches or YMCA staff, and practices and game schedules may vary.

YMCA youth sports provide opportunities for camaraderie, building skills and character development. We aim to keep kids moving and focus on their health and well-being.

2020 Fall Season

Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to offer our fall youth sports programs as anticipated. Fall Volleyball has been canceled.

Teams

Teams are formed based on age. See below for details and locations. Please refer to our age chart to determine your child's age group.

Players

Players must have and wear sneakers with non-marking soles to play. Each player receives a team jersey.

Seasons and Ages

During the registration process, you will be asked about your practice night preference. As YMCA teams are coached by volunteers, specific practice nights are determined after teams form depend on coach availability.

Coaches

Youth volleyball teams are led by volunteer coaches and/or YMCA staff. All volunteer coaches undergo a background check and training. Opportunities are available for coaches and assistant coaches at all locations.
