Youth Volleyball

The YMCA offers volleyball for ages 7 - 14. Depending on age and location, teams may be led by volunteer coaches or YMCA staff, and practices and game schedules may vary.

This fall, we are planning to offer our traditional league format for youth volleyball. Each age group's format will be dependent on registrations.

Age groups with lower registrations may be shifted to an academy-style program. Parents will be notified of league format prior to the season.

Our focus will continue to be on player and team development, coaching with character and keeping kids active and safe in our programs.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Like everyone, we are keeping up with the latest North Carolina and CDC guidelines around COVID safety. Please be sure to check our Youth Sports Health and Safety page for the latest information.

Teams

Teams are formed based on age. See below for details and locations. Please refer to our age chart to determine your child's age group.

Players

Players must have and wear sneakers with non-marking soles to play.
