Small Group Training Sessions are led by a certified personal trainer and each session focuses on a specialized format such as strength training, endurance, or core. Participants will use ropes, kettlebells, bars, TRX equipment and more encouraging individual progression and skill development.

A variety of classes and times are offered throughout the Association.

Powerlifting - All Levels

Whether you're totally new to powerlifting, or you're looking to improve on your personal records, this 4-week course is for you! Work with a certified personal trainer and weightlifting coach to learn proper form, build strength, and feel empowered!

Metabolic Fit

Enhance your metabolism, build strength, and get fit with this full-body functional training semi-private training that utilizes equipment such as the Queenax Functional System, weights, rowers, sandbags, and more!

Spartan Race Coaching

This 12-week program is scaled and customized to your fitness level. The group meets for 1-hour weekly group training sessions to get you race ready for the Asheville Spartan10K Super on August 5 or 5K Sprint on August 6.
$168 for the full 12-week program. Participants receive a 20% discount on their race registration, obstacle-specific training, and group support.

Functional Strength Training for Momma's-to-Be

A small group training that is tailored for pre- and post-natal mothers. This 4-week program focuses on functional strength, mobility and helpful tips that encourage a healthy lifestyle during and after pregnancy.

Preservation Yoga

Learn how you can take charge of your destiny and optimize your health. This 4-week special yoga series will help you preserve your posture, balance, bone density and peace of mind!  This practice will include exercises for better posture, balance confidence, bone building and combatting stress. Aging does not have to include stooped posture or falls resulting in broken bones! No prior yoga experience necessary.

Women on Weights

A five-week training program designed by women, for women! This class is led by a certified personal trainer that teaches proper technique, safety and etiquette for weight training. Small class sizes provide one-on-one attention and a comfortable environment for participants to learn at their own pace.

Women on Weights Session 2

W.O.W Session 2 will continue to build on the exercises presented in Session 1 while also incorporating additional equipment such as resistance bands, weighted balls, Bosu balance trainers, etc. In addition, the session will include opportunities to build cardiovascular fitness through set finishers and other functional fitness activities as a part of strength training workouts.  Finally, we will discuss fitness goal setting and how to structure a realistic and personalized strength training regimen to perform consistently with these goals in mind.

Compounding Your Confidence

This class meets on the weight room floor and will grow participant confidence in using free weights such as the barbell, dumbbells, kettlebells and more! We will cover major compound, foundational lifts, such as the barbell back squat, deadlift and bench press. We will build from there by adding accessory lifts that complement each major lift, all while focusing on proper form.

Tough Turf

Are you ready to kick it up a notch? Tough Turf is a full body, functional small group training that focuses on strength and conditioning with the use of functional equipment that mirrors our everyday movements. Think outside of the gym - tires, sandbags, hammers, kettlebells, battle ropes and more. This is not your traditional workout. If you are looking to change up or add to your routine and find a team that encourages you to push your goals to the next level, this is the 4-week class for you!

These training sessions break down the various lifts in the weight room. This small group training meets once per week in Studio X and is for those with previous lifting experience.

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ)

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ), for ages 11 - 17 years, focuses on helping participants to become better, stronger athletes. This training is full of drills and exercises. This is a free, ongoing training program designed to help athletes achieve their fitness goals.

Blatz Burner Boot Camp

Circuit class with 15-minute increments of cycling and strength training for an all-in-one cardio and strength workout. Torch calories and increase your metabolic rate. This training will incorporate goal setting and nutrition guidance.
