YMCA of the Triangle

Header slogan

FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
FOR HEALTHY LIVING
FOR SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Walking and running are two popular methods of fitness in the Triangle. With our miles of greenways that criss-cross the area and mild weather, it's no surprise that many YMCA members choose walking and running as preferred forms of fitness.

Several of our YMCAs host walking and/or running clubs. These clubs are led by YMCA staff and volunteers and usually meet weekly either in the community or the YMCA for walks or runs.

We provide a pacer so no one is left behind, and welcome walkers and runners of all ages and abilities. These clubs are a great way to meet people, share fellowship and spend time outside on your fitness goals.

Walking and/or running clubs are held at the following YMCAs and are free for YMCA Members.
