Small Group Training

Small Group Training sessions are led by a certified personal trainer and each session focuses on a specialized format such as strength training, endurance, or core. Participants will use ropes, kettle bells, bars, TRX equipment and more encouraging individual progression and skill development.

Small Group Training classes are intentionally small - usually no more than eight to 12 participants per session. 

A variety of Small Group Training sessions is offered at different YMCAs. Please register for all small group training sessions at the YMCA.

W.O.W - Women on Weights Intermediate

Synergy 360
This is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) group X class that includes non-traditional exercise equipment such as TRX, battle ropes, kickboxing bags, land mines, kettlebells and much more. Spaces are limited. Please email to RSVP.

Lunch Power Hour
This group is designed to make you sweat! You’ll work your entire body and learn how to combine cardio exercise with muscular endurance-based movements. This goes beyond your typical fitness floor workout and will push you to your limit.

TRX
A full-body workout utilizing your body weight along with sus-pension straps to improve muscle tone, cardiovascular endurance, balance and core strength.

Strength Training
Improve your ability to accomplish activities of daily living by working on functional moves in all 3 planes of movement. You will be challenged and coached through each exercise and learn proper mechanics behind strength movements.

Kettle Bell training is a small group class that uses compound movements to work multiple joints and muscles at once, which will build strength while burning fat and calories. All fitness levels welcomed!
