Youth Futsal

The YMCA offers a recreational futsal program designed to give players extra experience during a time when soccer is usually out of season.

Futsal is a variation of indoor soccer that is widely played across the world and is recognized by FIFA and other major organizations.

This fast-paced game provides unique opportunities for players to develop in precision, decision-making, ball control and skillful, creative play. Smaller team sizes result in a much better all-around understanding of the game, as well as more touches on the ball.

The program will develop dribbling, passing, and finishing techniques while instilling the confidence necessary to succeed in outdoor soccer. Futsal leagues focus on small skill sessions and games, rather than a traditional practice/ game schedule.

Please be sure to check our age chart to determine your child's league.

Parents

Parents are expected to remain on-site (fields and gyms) as the primary supervisor of their child. This includes taking their children to the restroom and addressing any challenges that may arise. This allows our coaches to focus on leading practices and games. In addition, YMCA sports staff will be present at all practices and games.
