Join us for Basics to Balance a four-week workshop designed to help you build the foundation for stability and strength in your yoga practice. In sessions 1 -4, we'll start with a calming breathwork practice before diving into a gentle warm-up, breaking down Sun Salutations, focusing on alignment and proper technique to enhance your understanding of shapes to build balance.
Core-focused movements will help you connect deeply to your center, vital for balance both on and off the mat. Throughout this workshop series, you’ll build single-leg poses with detailed guidance, including an optional half-bind or mini-bind, to challenge and refine your balance. Whether you're new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop series is the perfect way to cultivate strength, focus, and stability.
In week 5, you'll put your knowledge from the past 4 sessions into motion in a class setting. This session will include an hour-long Power Yoga class (open to all members) with a discussion afterward. Take this practice to see how balance shapes differ in a class setting.
