Youth Mental Health First Aid Course for Parents

Virtual Youth Mental Health First Aid Course for Parents

Saturday, November 15, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

We all have mental health- let's make it positive!

Parents and guardians of YMCA of the Triangle youth program participants (before and after school, camps, teen programs, etc.) are invited to join us for a free Youth Mental Health First Aid Course. In this course you will learn how to support your children and community members experiencing mental health struggles. 

What to Expect: 
2 hours of self-paced pre-work to build foundational knowledge 
6 hours of live, virtual instructor-led training via Zoom (Saturday, November 15, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., including brief breaks and a lunch break) 

Requirements: 
Access to a computer with a camera and microphone. 
A Zoom account for the live session. 

This program will occur virtually only and is available to all YMCA of the Triangle participants.
