THRIVE is a social and service group of people ages 55 and over. We gather together to serve the community, build friendships, share interests and simply enjoy each other’s company!

Build Community Through Group Fitness & Fellowship
- Outdoor (effective Tue., May 27) Water Aerobics: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m., 8;30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
- Thrive: Cardio Strength, Tuesday 12:15 p.m., Wednesday 1 p.m., Friday 12 p.m.
- Thrive: Chair Yoga, Monday 1 p.m., Thursday 12:15 p.m.
*Group fitness class sign-up is required through the YMCA App or our online schedules.
Seasonal Special Events
Friendsgiving, November 13, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Register
Please join us in the multi-purpose room to celebrate the season. Use the sign-up below to let us know what dish you are bringing to share (use the comment to add your dish name). Please prepare enough to feed 8-12 people.
The Y will provide tablecloths, plates, napkins, and cutlery.
The room will be open at 8 a.m., if you would like to drop off dishes prior to attending any classes on Thursday.

Cookie Exchange, December 11, 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Register
Please join us for a holiday cookie exchange! (Fun and fellowship, too!)
For ease of sharing, please individually bag cookies and bring at least 18 bags to share (2-3 cookies per bag).
Recipes welcome! Don't forget your phone, too, to snap pictures of recipes to bring home with you!
Volunteer Opportunities
- If you are interested in serving on our Thrive Committee, please contact Melissa.Vasica-Mossman@YMCATriangle.org. Committee members help plan and execute Thrive events.
- We are also recruiting volunteers to work at our front desk Monday - Saturday mornings, 9 - 11 a.m. Volunteers will greet members and scan cards. All training will be provided. Those interested can also contact Melissa at the email above or respond with this online form.
