It's time for a facility refresh at the Taylor Family YMCA!
UPDATE: Our Wellness Floor renovations are almost complete! Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 27 - 28 our temporary strength training area on the first floor will be CLOSED and the old equipment will be removed. Thank you for your patience during our renovations. We can’t wait to show you our new Wellness Floor with all new equipment when it opens on Friday, Sept. 29! Come check it out!

This fall our facility will undergo renovations to enhance our member offerings. Thursday, August 31 at noon we will begin moving our strength and cardio equipment to make room for our upgrades. Our upstairs Wellness Floor will temporarily close in September as we work.
Upgrades will include:
- All new flooring in our Weight Room and common areas on the second floor
- All new weight equipment
- Building envelope maintenance and weather proofing
The Indoor Track, Cardio Balcony, Group Ex Studio, Saunas, Steam Rooms and Locker Rooms on the second floor will remain open during the renovation. Look for interior directional signs to help you navigate new routes to access these areas during the renovation.
Equipment will be temporarily relocated to make limited strength training and cardio options available on the first floor in our Lobby and Multipurpose Room.
Our elevator will be unavailable on September 5 and access will be limited through the end of September during this renovation. Please call 919-469-9622 to confirm elevator availability before arrival.
Although most of our amenities will remain open during the Wellness Floor renovation, members may wish to utilize other branches during this time. Please remember members have the flexibility to visit any YMCA of the Triangle location at any time through their member benefits.
