The YMCA of the Triangle is continuing our service to our community with a series of blood drives benefitting the American Red Cross. In this time of crisis, there is a national blood shortage, and our YMCA is positioned to help.
In April, our community and YMCA members stepped up in a big way. Due to new blood drive screening protocols and COVID-19 safety measures, our locations could only serve one donor at a time. We planned to serve approximately 100 donors.
Thanks to everyone, our YMCA and the Red Cross collected blood from more than 155 donors across four locations!
