National Voter Registration Day

Did you know?

  • In 2020, the Chief Justice of the NC Supreme Court was decided by just 412 votes or less .0007%.
  • After decades of YMCA Youth and Government bills passed by Youth Legislature to lower the voting age, ratification of the 26th amendment occurred in 1971 so that 18-year-olds could vote.

Civic engagement happens any time any one of us takes action to better the community. One of the most powerful ways you can make a difference is to vote! National Voter Registration Day is September 20.

We're also proud that the Southeast Raleigh YMCA is an approved early voting site. Stop by the Y and cast your ballot.
