Corrina Basta
As Corrina Basta says, "The Show Goes On." After running for Speaker of the House at last year’s conference, Basta didn’t see a loss—she saw a lesson. Instead of letting it hold her back, she embraced the experience, earning the title of “Most Helpful Delegate” and stepping up as the Delegation Leader for New Hanover’s largest delegation. Her love for YAG sparked during her freshman year when her bill successfully passed through the Government Cabinet—an unexpected achievement for someone who initially wasn’t sure what she had signed up for. Now, she’s more passionate than ever about the program and the opportunities it creates. “When one door closes, a thousand more open,” she says. And don’t forget—Grimace, everyone’s favorite McDonald’s character, is with her too! Basta believes there’s a place for everyone in YAG and is excited to share her passion with you. Basta is back!
