Positive Parenting Seminar
Join us at the Taylor Family Y on May 18 from 11 a.m. - noon for a parent education workshop and discussion from Triple P Parenting. Kid Zone will be available for children, and members may utilize their two-hour Kid Zone benefit plus an additional hour to attend this class while their children remain in Kid Zone.
Parents will be introduced to the five key principles of positive parenting that form the basis of the Triple P Positive Parenting Program. These principles are:
• Ensuring a safe, engaging environment.
• Creating a positive learning environment.
• Using assertive discipline.
• Having reasonable expectations.
• Looking after yourself as a parent.
Registration is free. You will be granted a certificate.
