Kindercamp: Kraft Family YMCA
Summer 2026
Kindercamp is a half-day summer day camp for our littlest campers. These half-day programs are a great introduction to the structure and rhythm of day camp. Days are filled with songs, games, water play, circle time and crafts. We keep our ratios intentionally low so each camper can have plenty of one-on-one attention and care.
Kindercamp is located at Penny Road Elementary School* (10900 Penny Rd, Cary, NC 27518), and is open to campers ages 3 – rising kindergarten. Kindercampers are required to be potty trained. Kindercamp will bus to the Kraft Y 3-days a week for swimming.

Kindercamp Details
Rides In
Rides In begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m. Children may not be dropped off prior to 8:30 a.m.
Rides Out
Rides Out begins at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 1p.m.
Both Rides In and Rides Out take place in the main carpool loop in front of Penny Road Elementary. Staff members will be there to help your children out of your car.
If you are dropping off late or picking up early, you can let us know by calling our camp phone at 919-649-4322 prior to your arrival.
Each day at Kindercamp and Wee Camp includes indoor and outdoor active play, creative learning (crafts or STEM), social-emotional skill building, music, swimming and station time. We also have a daily assembly time!
Kids eat both snack and lunch at Kindercamp and Wee Camp.

Nut Free Camp
Kindercamp and Wee Camp are nut-free camps. Thank you for your support in keeping all our kids safe!
Kindercamp
Kindercamp goes swimming on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Please send your child in their bathing suit with a change of clothes for after. Also, please have them at camp no later than 9 a.m. to catch our bus to the Kraft Family YMCA Pool.
Wee Camp
Wee Camp participates in Water Day on Fridays. Please send your child in their bathing suit with a change of clothes for after.
Meet Jordan
Hi! I'm Jordan, and I am the Director of Kindercamp and Wee Camp. I have worked for the Y for 3 years and became a director at the Kraft Family YMCA in February 2026. I’m originally from Charleston, West Virginia, and I’ve always loved spending summers outdoors and staying active. In my free time, I enjoy going to live sporting events, skiing in the mountains, taking hikes and spending time with family. I’m so excited for a fun-filled summer and can’t wait to meet all of our amazing campers and families!
