Summer 2026
YMCA traditional Summer Day Camps are packed with activities, games and fun. Campers spend the day swimming, creating crafts and art, playing sports like kickball, pickup basketball, and soccer and playing games like gaga ball and capture the flag. Campers spend time inside and outside during the day depending on the weather and activity. Read more about a typical day at YMCA Day Camp.
All campers are encouraged to try everything, to do their best and are led by a team of YMCA youth staff and counselors.
Camp Quay is a traditional summer day camp at Lincoln Heights Elementary (307 Bridge St, Fuquay-Varina) and runs from June 16 - August 8. Our summer will be packed with activities, games, and fun. Campers spend time inside and outside during the day, depending on the weather and activity. We can't wait to see you there!

Camp Quay Details
Pick up and drop off will happen in the bus loop off of Washington Street. A staff member will be outside to greet you from 7 - 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 - 6 p.m. If you are dropping off or picking up outside of these times, please call us at 910-403-0812.
Parents must present a pick-up card (provided on your child’s first day of the program) or an I.D. as a safety precaution.
After camp closes at 6 p.m., a late fee applies. The fee is $5 for the first 10 minutes and $1 for every minute thereafter.

Wednesday is Swim Day!
Campers will ride a bus to the Kraft Family YMCA, leaving promptly at 9 a.m.
Campers will swim for two hours in the Kraft Family Y outdoor pool. Be sure to send campers in their bathing suits on Wednesday mornings as well as a change of clothes for after swim time.

Thumpin' Thursday!
We will celebrate the theme of the week with a camp-wide activity and dress-up day. Keep an eye on the weekly newsletter email to find out how to dress up. Campers will participate in a weekly costume contest and have the opportunity to win a "Charlie the Chicken" bead for the winning costume.

Hi, I'm Jessica and I am the Director at Camp Quay! I have worked at the Kraft Family YMCA for two and a half years, but have been a part of the YMCA of the Triangle family since I was 7 years old. I love NCSU Wolfpack football, reading books and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Youth, Family and Community Sciences at NC State University. I am looking forward to starting new traditions at Camp Quay and getting to meet each and every one of you! See you at camp!
