Registration opens on Jan. 1, 2026, for YMCA members and on Jan. 15 for Program Participants. A $20 weekly deposit holds your child’s spot.
Summer 2026
Campers are divided into age and grade-appropriate groups called "huddles" that are supervised by our dedicated, enthusiastic, and child-centered staff team.
Each week, campers have opportunities to swim, participate in skill development and earn beads by demonstrating the Y's core values of Faith, Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility - because at the YMCA Summer Day Camp, character counts!
At Camp Pathfinder, kids have the chance to be kids, all within a structured, playful, and safe environment. Campers spend the day swimming, creating crafts and art, playing sports like kickball, pickup basketball, and soccer and playing games like gaga ball and capture the flag.

Camp Pathfinder FAQs
We swim every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Heather Hills Pool in Garner.
Kona Ice will be onsite every Friday from 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m. Campers who wish to purchase a snow cone should bring $3 - $6.
Elementary school-age campers do not go on field trips. Our middle school campers with Camp 3 go on field trips every Friday. Visit their web page for more information!
