Sports Camp: Lakewood YMCA
Located at the Lakewood YMCA, Sports Camp (also known to its friends as Camp Bull Run) is the perfect place for your emerging sports star to spend the summer. Whether you’ve got the next great hoops player or a budding star on the soccer pitch, we have weeks planned with your camper in mind.
Although improving skills is the focus, Sports Camp is still designed with fun in mind. Fun games and drills keep players engaged and energized, while improving the fundamentals required for the game. Plus, our counselors will reinforce the importance of sportsmanship and fair play throughout the week. Sports Camp is open to campers in rising grades 1 – 6.
Campers may enroll for programs focused on basketball, soccer, volleyball or flag football each week. Camp mornings are largely focused on those specific sports, with afternoons consisting of an active mix of swimming, team-based games, and opportunities such as disc golf and archery.
