Each year, more than 20,000 children, families and adults swim at the Taylor Family YMCA pools.
Since the 1990s, Y members have relied on the “bubble” for indoor swimming opportunities during the fall and winter. As you know, installing the bubble and deflating the bubble each year is time consuming, dependent on weather conditions and impacts your time in the pool.
Exciting Upgrade
We're excited to announce that we will replace the bubble with a state-of-the-art retractable DynaDome enclosure. See examples of the structure below. Construction on the DynaDome will begin at the end of the outdoor swim season in September.
Programming will be interrupted during this upgrade. We are already making accommodations at aquatics centers throughout our YMCA and leveraging relationships with community pools to provide swimming options for you during this time.
Programming and Hours
The Main Pool is closed for Family Swim.
For Adult Lap Swim, Stroke School, YOTA Prep, and Water Aerobics, please check the pool schedule for where these programs will be held.
Oasis Pool Operating Hours - (through September 30):
- Monday/Wednesday: 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
- Labor Day - Monday, September 6: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. - Only Lap Swim will be available to members.
- Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Sunday: Noon - 4 p.m.
After September 30, hours of operation will be assessed based on weather conditions.
