Each year WakeEd provides free classroom supplies for nearly 11,000 teachers in Wake County Public Schools through their program Tools4Schools. Our Wake County YMCAs serve as drop-off spots for donations between July 9 - Aug. 20, and focused on collecting writing and drawing utensils.
Our YMCA is proud to support this effort, and we need your help. Look for the large bins in the lobbies of our YMCAs and drop new, unused items throughout the summer.
Later this summer, all Wake County Public School teachers can sign up for a time to "shop" at the WakeEd store and pick out the supplies they need for the year.

- Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens (Medium Point)
- Expo Dry Erase Markers (Black)
- Expo Dry Erase Markers (Various Sizes/Colors)
