CILT Program Builds Confident Teens

Through the Camper in Leadership Training (CILT) program, your teen can gain leadership experience and serve as a role model for younger campers while assisting counselors and staff with summer camp activities.

The CILT program grows character and leadership development, and is led by experienced staff members serving as mentors. Teens enjoy the amount of responsibility they are given as CILTs, and the trust other staff put in them to help with the younger campers.

The CILT program is for teens in rising grades 9-10.  Their days consist of everything from spending time with huddles to team-building, group outings and participating in service projects. Service projects might include a visit to a retirement community, helping in a community garden or putting together care packages for people in need.

CILTs may use a portion of their time toward community service.

Students in rising grade 11 and age 15+ can apply to be a volunteer at camp.
