Youth & Government

YMCA Youth & Government prepares teens for moral and political leadership through training in the theory and practice of developing public policy.

Teens can join Youth & Government through a YMCA Youth & Government club at their high school. Teens write bills, then debate them in a model legislature
complete with delegates, judges and members of the press at the statewide conference held in February in downtown Raleigh.

The possibilities for leadership and self-discovery are endless.

Session

Runs from September 2012 through February 2013.
