Each year, the YMCA chaperones teens in grades 6 -12 on several different spring break service trips.

In April 2020, teens will journey to Nashville, Tenn., Richmond, Va. and tour colleges and universities in Virginia.

Teens will work with community members, learn about themselves, grow spiritually and learn what it really means to be a servant leader. Older teens also have the option to take a College Tour instead of a service trip.

Program Highlights

Teens participant in a range of service initiatives that may include visiting the elderly, tutoring children, helping with small construction projects or preparing meals. They will earn a minimum of 15 - 20 service hours for school or clubs. Teens learn about different peoples experiences in our country and how those differences affect people in their day-to-day life.

And teens enjoy a spring break with friends and peers.
