YMCA of the Triangle

Header slogan

YMCA Youth Challenge Basketball is the next level of YMCA youth basketball. Our Challenge program emphasizes individual player development, structured professional coaching and in-house tournaments.

Our Y Challenge Basketball teams play a 10-week season that includes skill development and gameplay. Professional coaches focus on intermediate and advanced skills while strengthening team play. Offensive and defensive skills and drills are taught. Games are played on a full-court with regulation 10-foot goals.

Teams practice twice a week and play games on Saturdays. Game locations vary at locations across the Triangle.

Athletes must be younger than 13 on July 1. Practice will begin the week of April 13.
