Small Group Training

Small Group Training Sessions are led by a certified personal trainer and each session focuses on a specialized format such as strength training, endurance, or core. Participants will use ropes, kettlebells, bars, TRX equipment and more encouraging individual progression and skill development.

A variety of classes and times are offered throughout the Association.

Adaptive Special Needs SGT

Participants with diverse abilities are invited to stay active while connecting with new friends! This is a fun exercise program designed to increase strength, muscle, confidence, cardiovascular endurance, attention span, energy and vitality.

Intro to Olympic Lifting

This 4-week small group training will introduce basic Olympic Lifts with proper technique. This class is led by a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer, Lindsay Pastor and uses the Southeast Raleigh Olympic Lifting floor space and squat rack.  Could you update that info?

Weightlifting for All Levels

Women's Barbell Club

These training sessions break down the various lifts in the weight room. This small group training meets once per week in Studio X and is for those with previous lifting experience.

Women on Weights

W.O.W. is an introduction to weightlifting by and for women. Learn proper exercise form and fundamentals while getting a great workout.

Women on Weights: Intermediate Level

This training group will assist women in improving their posture, increasing their strength, and losing body mass. You’ll see a positive transformation in your body, and you will get stronger. Classes are taught by certified personal trainers. 

Some prior weightlifting experience is required. This is not a beginner/introductory level training.

Start to Enjoy Running (SER)

This is a beginner-level class designed to take running from intimidating to attainable in 5 weeks. We’ll cover foundational topics such as choosing supportive footwear, hydrating the body, staying safe, incorporating a proper warm-up, building a strength training routine and preventing injury. By the end of this program you’ll feel more confident and ready to build your own running routine.

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ)

Strength, Agility and Quickness (SAQ), for ages 11 - 17 years, focuses on helping participants to become better, stronger athletes. This training is full of drills and exercises. This is a free, ongoing training program designed to help athletes achieve their fitness goals.
