Camp Blazing Trails at Blue Jay Park

Enjoy the great outdoors at Camp Blazing Trails, a half-day nature camp held at Blue Jay Point County Park. Campers fish, hike, canoe, learn archery, meet with a park ranger and discover environmental conservation.

our staff

Camp Blazing Trails summer day camp staff are ages 16 through early college. Most were campers themselves. Each YMCA camp counselor is hand-picked for their enthusiasm, energy, eye for safety and maturity. All counselors go through 15 hours of hands-on training in everything from managing a group of energetic kids to basic first aid.

Camp Blazing Trails is open to kids in rising K - 8. It's located at 3200 Pleasant Union Church Rd.  Camp Blazing Trails is operated through the A.E. Finley YMCA.
