Over $565,000 Raised During our Annual Campaign!

Friday, November 16, 2018

We are humbled by the efforts of our volunteers and staff to make this year's YMCA Annual Campaign a success!

Over the last five and a half weeks, the Kerr Family YMCA - under the leadership of Campaign Chair Chris Woody - raised a grand total of $565,783 to help transform lives in our own neighborhood! The Mission of the YMCA requires us to take on the challenges that face our friends and neighbors. Our volunteers' efforts are the most visible example of our Mission in action.

Funds raised by the Annual Campaign go toward programs like swim lessons, summer camp, LiveSTRONG, the Diabetes Prevention Program and Y-Learning, an after-school program that provides and educational support to at-risk children in the community. These and many other programs impacted by the campaign aim to serve the YMCA's areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

The campaign is led by volunteers and staff that are challenged to raise money by sharing the "Y Story" in their community.

Great work by all who were involved. Thank you for all of your hard work. We are humbled and grateful for all of our YMCA family and the impact we are making in our community.
