Tuesday Night Thrive: Foam Rolling Clinic

You may have seen foam rollers on the wellness floor or heard about health benefits of using a foam roller, but what do you actually do with them? Join our personal trainers for September's edition of Tuesday Night Thrive: Foam Rolling Clinic. Fleet Feet is facilitating this interactive injury-prevention class with specific instruction and exercises to maximise these great tools. There are two times to learn this great technique: 

  • 5 - 6 p.m: open foam rolling in the Wellness Floor lobby (drop in)
  • 6 - 7 p.m. foam rolling class (sign up required)

The Foam Roller is known as a “runner’s best friend” because of it’s capability to:

  • Increase flexibility and mobility
  • Offer intense massage that elongates and lengthens muscles
  • Limit and decrease soreness and tightness in muscles
  • Reduce the risk of injury, especially torn or pulled muscles
  • Improve performance
  • Provide a platform for core strengthening exercises

This clinic is at no cost to members, but spots are limited to 10. Email Tracie to reserve your spot. Clinic is located in the Conference Room in the back of the Wellness Floor.
