This 9-week series combines run/walk intervals and heated yoga to get you ready to finish a local 5K. In the first half of each weekly class, you'll progress through increasingly longer run and walk intervals around downtown Raleigh. The second half of each class integrates heated yoga to stretch your legs and hips, strengthen your core and improve breath control. No previous experience with running or yoga is required. We will grow together as a group each week.
Runners are encouraged to do at least one additional run/walk workout on their own each week. At the end of the series, runners will be encouraged to complete a local 5K as a group to celebrate each other's accomplishments.
The 5K will not be covered in the registration fee but participants can receive $5 off when they enter the promo code: Poynerymca.
