The Poole Family YMCA is joining with the Cleveland School Rotary Club to support the Friends of Johnston County Parks's Earth Day clean-up event.
Let's work together to clear the litter across the county, in parks, open spaces, on trails, and roadside.
Businesses, athletic teams, churches, youth groups, neighborhoods, civic groups, families, and individuals across the county are invited to participate.
We'd also love to hear from anyone who is willing to donate garbage bags, gloves, vests, and grabbers!
Details:
- We are working with local parks and recreation departments in towns across the county, as well as NC DOT as part of the Litter Sweep initiative.
- Registration is required for litter cleanup in public spaces.
- Space is limited to 50 volunteers per location.
- Supplies will be provided at each location as available, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own if they have them.
