Help make a difference on Monday, Jan. 21 by volunteering at our MLK Day of Service. It will be a great opportunity to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and give back to our community.
Join us at Southeast Raleigh High School as we host a food packaging event to benefit The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina and help people dealing with food insecurity or assist with preparation of the high school's baseball field for the upcoming spring season.
We will also collect nonperishable food and personal hygiene items at the Alexander Family and Poyner YMCA for students at Walnut Creek Elementary School through Monday, January 21.
Preferred Donation List:
-all veggies (can)
-canned meats (tuna, chicken)
-breakfast items (grits, oatmeal)
