$103,246 Raised for Chatham!

Friday, November 16, 2018

We are humbled by the efforts of our volunteers and staff to make this year's YMCA Annual Campaign a success!

Over the last five and a half weeks, the Chatham YMCA - under the leadership of campaign chair Karen Foust - raised a grand total of $103,246 to help transform lives in our community! The mission of the YMCA requires us to take on the challenges that face our friends and neighbors. The efforts of our volunteers are the most visible example of our mission in action.

Funds raised by the Annual Campaign go toward programs like summer day camp, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA for cancer survivors, youth sports and Y Learning, an after school program that provides educational support to help close the achievement gap. These and many other programs impacted by the campaign aim to serve the YMCA's areas of focus: Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

The campaign is led by volunteers and staff that are challenged to raise money by sharing the "Y Story" in their community.

We would like to share a heartfelt Thank You for all of your hard work. We are humbled and grateful by our YMCA family and its investment in our community.
