William's prescription for a healthy lifestyle includes regular visits to the Y.
“I go to the Y about five times a week,” says William. “It’s part of my routine. It helps me relieve stress and keeps me grounded.”
Whether he’s lifting weights, taking a group fitness class or running on the treadmill, William continues to build more than muscle.
His Reason Why
“I’ve been a member of other facilities and I find the Y is where you feel like a part of the community. The Y is such an important part of my life.”
As a father, husband and physician, William views the Y as a critical part of his life and the community.
“We’re always talking about exercise being one of the pillars of health,” said William. “No organization promotes that as well as the YMCA.”
