Several of our YMCA branches offer Presents of Peace to families in our outreach programs so they can choose toys, clothing and books at greatly reduced prices. Other branches may offer Angel Trees or other shopping experiences.

Donate a gift to Presents of Peace by choosing an item from the angel tree that is currently on display in the lobby. Please drop gifts off (unwrapped) at the Y no later than Tuesday, Dec. 12 so we can sort and organize them. The Presents of Peace celebration is on Sunday, Dec. 16. Alexander Family YMCA

The Chatham YMCA is partnering with the Salvation Army to provide gifts to children in Chatham County this holiday season. Angel Tree ornaments will be in place by Saturday, November 17. Volunteers are asked to register any selected ornaments with our front desk staff. Gifts will be due back (unwrapped or in gift bags without tissue paper) by Monday, December 10 at 5 p.m.For information or to volunteer, contact Sarah.Wright@YMCATriangle.org.
Choose an item from the decorated trees in the Durham YMCAs' Welcome Centers. All items selected from the tree will need to be returned to Y (unwrapped) by Friday, December 7. Take an ornament from the Angel Treetree in the lobby beginning November 20. Purchase gifts for the child you choose and bring the unwrapped presents back to the branch by Wednesday, December 12. Learn more.

Choose an item from the decorated tree in the Kerr lobby. All items selected from the tree will need to be returned to Kerr Y (unwrapped) by Wednesday, Dec. 12. Northwest Cary and Taylor Family YMCAs
Northwest Cary and Taylor Family YMCAs outreach program is called Santa's Workshop. Our families that are involved in outreach programs are invited to Santa's Workshop to buy clothes and toys at a highly discounted rate (approximately $1-2 per item). Pick an ornament from the trees in the branches. Register your ornament at the Welcome Center. Learn more about donating and volunteering.
