Kraft YMCA Lively at 55+

Lively at 55+ is a social and service group of people ages 55 and over. We gather together to serve the community, build friendships, share interests and simply enjoy each other’s company!

Join us the 1st Tuesday of the month in the Kraft Y Coffee Area from 2 - 3:30 p.m. for cards and board games. Drop in and bring games/cards you'd like to play.

Meet at the Kraft Y at 8 a.m. and return by 4 p.m. $40 cost includes transportation and ticket cost. We will stop for lunch (buy your own) on the way back to the Kraft Y.

Medicare 101, Feb. 23, 11:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
Join us at no cost for Medicare 101: The Basics Workshop with SHIIP Director Rhonda Narron at the Kraft Y.  
Rhonda Narron, with SHIIP (Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program) will cover the basics regarding the various parts of Medicare, how to enroll, how SHIIP can help, and how to contact us. We will also cover some upcoming changes to Medicare for 2023. The intended audience is anyone approaching Medicare eligibility or those on Medicare already that may need a refresher.
Bring your own lunch! Light snacks and water provided.

Imani Winds Concert, Feb. 26, 12:45 - 5 p.m.
Imani Winds Concert at the Art Museum in Raleigh. $31 ticket cost - bring cash or check made payable to the Kraft Family YMCA the day of the event.
The concert is from 2 – 4 p.m. The Y Shuttle leaves from Kraft at 12:45 p.m. and will return to Kraft by 5 p.m. or you can meet us there.
Celebrating over two decades of music making, the twice-Grammy-nominated Imani Winds has led both a revolution and evolution of the wind quintet through their dynamic playing, adventurous programming, imaginative collaborations and outreach endeavors that have inspired audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
