Senior Tech Ed Can Help!

The A.E. Finley YMCA is partnering with SeniorTechEd to offer classes to seniors and adults who need some additional support with technology. SeniorTechEd is an organization dedicated to providing adults with education and access to computer technology. In partnership with the A.E. Finley YMCA, SeniorTechEd will offer classes onsite at Finley in March. These small group classes will cover a variety of subjects, ranging from the basics to more advanced topics.

Windows 10 Tips & Techniques
Monday, March 4
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
This seminar will present helpful tips and techniques for using Windows' latest operating system. These techniques will guide the user to utilize Windows 10 more efficiently.

Using your Android Smart Phone
Friday, March 15
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Learn the basics of how to use your Android-based Smartphone. Understand settings for safe and efficient use. Learn practical use of your phone’s applications.

iPad/iPhone: Introduction to the "Basics"
Friday, March 15
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Are you thinking of getting an Apple iOS-device? This course will teach you how to set up your iPhone or iPad, provide a brief overview of the many available applications, or apps. Bring your own iOS-devices and your Apple ID & Password. 

iPhone: Getting to know your iPhone
Friday, March 29
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
This course illustrates the capabilities and underlying concepts of the Apple iPhone. You will learn basic set up, making simple phone calls, and advanced features such as “Do Not Disturb." A brief overview of the many applications available, such as Safari, Mail, Calendar and Contacts. Bring your iPhone, Apple ID & password.
