At the Y, we believe education opens doors for everyone. And every child should have all the resources to succeed in school.
That’s why we offer a series of tutoring and mentoring programs for children who struggle to keep up academically. Students must be referred to the program by a school guidance counselor and teacher.
Tutorial programs are based in local elementary schools and in community centers and churches in under-served areas. Y tutorial programs are funded through the YMCA We Build People program.
