We offer a variety of fun family events—an opportunity for parents and children to spend time together through creative, themed activities. Register for any of the events at the Alexander Family YMCA Welcome Center. All events are held at the Alexander Y in downtown Raleigh.

Our Babysitting Course teaches participants the necessary skills to provide safe, responsible child care in the absence of parents or guardians. This training helps youth develop personal professionalism as well as skills in basic care, ages and stages, safe play and first aid.

Princess and Pirate Party Parents' Night Out

Parents' Night Out is an opportunity for parents to spend quality time to gether while kids enjoy a variety of fun activities at the YMCA. Walk the plank, search for hidden treasure and find Cinderella's lost slipper. Party-goers will enjoy themed crafts, fun games and a movie to boot. Dinner will be served to the liking of all hungry princesses and famished pirates.
