* Horseback is an optional add-on for day camp and resident (overnight) camp. It is an additional $150 per child per session and must be pre-registered for--space is limited. It is a beginner program that takes place for approximately one hour each day Monday through Friday.
There are no weekend stayovers on July 3 and July 24. Camp closes down and all campers and staff go home.
Check-in
is between 2 and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Pick-up is
between 9 and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Kanata is an affordable, flexible
camping option. Campers may enroll for one week or multiple sessions.
Campers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis regardless

2010 fees:
Weekly sessions $693/week
Horseback Riding $150/week
Laundry service $15/week (for campers staying two or more weeks)
Neuse River Canoe Trip (campers 12- to 15-years-olds) $67 per
person
A reservation deposit and processing fee of $150 per session
is required with the application. This fee is applied to the
total tuition. The balance is due by April 1.
No receipts will be sent on final payments unless requested.
All checks should be made payable to YMCA Camp Kanata. Financial
assistance is available on a limited basis to those in need.
