Every camper is different, and will have some different things they want to bring to camp. But the following list of suggestions for a week’s stay should give you a good start on packing.
And don’t forget: The camper’s name should be marked on everything he or she brings, for easy identification.

- 7 pairs of shorts
- 1 pair of pants
- 7-10 T-shirts
- 8 pairs of socks
- Sweater or jacket
- 2 pairs of sneakers
- Sandals
- 2-3 bathing suits
- Sleeping clothes
- 7 pairs of underwear
- Rain gear
- Sleeping bag or twin sheets
- Pillow
- 3-4 towels
- Toiletries
- Laundry bag
- Comb or brush
- Clip-on electric fan
- Flashlight
- Labeled camera (digital cameras are allowed*)
- Bug spray
- Labeled water bottle
- Addressed cards or envelopes
- Paper and stamps
- Sun block
Horseback Riders:
- Closed-toed shoes with a heel
- Long pants
Optional:
- Sports equipment
- Fishing gear
- Musical instrument
- Card games
- Outfit for the dance
- Bible
>> And what NOT to bring:
- Knives/weapons/lighters
- Pets (even if they fit in your pocket)
- Electronic games
- iPod/music players/TV
- Cell phone/pager
These items will be confiscated! Gone! For good! So leave ‘em home!
