What better way to spend a few days than at Kanata's Mini-Camps? Come spend a weekend (Friday evening to Sunday morning) at camp! First time campers get a chance to discover Kanata while veteran campers get a chance to reconnect with their friends and counselors from the summer! Mini Camps fill quickly--keep an eye on the website for updates.
Some of your favorite Kanata activities will be available, including canoeing, archery and riflery. Don't miss your chance to cap off your year with one more camp experience – it’s as much fun as you remember.

Fee for 2009/2010 Mini Camps is $107 per child per weekend.
Every camper is different, and will have some different things they want to bring to camp. But the following list of suggestions for a weekend’s stay should give you a good start on packing.
And don’t forget: The camper’s name should be marked on everything he or she brings, for easy identification.

2 pairs of shorts
2 pair of pants
2-3 T-shirts
2 pairs of socks
Sweater or jacket
2 pairs of sneakers
Sandals
Sleeping clothes
2-3 pairs of underwear
Rain gear
Sleeping bag or twin sheets and blanket
Pillow
towel
Toiletries
Laundry bag
Comb or brush
Flashlight
Labeled camera (digital cameras are allowed*)
Labeled water bottle
>> And what NOT to bring:
Knives/weapons/lighters
Pets (even if they fit in your pocket)
Electronic games
iPod/music players/TV
Cell phone/pager
These items will be confiscated! Gone! For good! So leave ‘em home!
*All personal gear is brought at your own risk. Camp Kanata is not responsible for lost or broken items. Please do not send any items that you will be upset about if they are damaged or lost.
Meals are a time for all campers to come together as a community.
All meals are served family style with each cabin group seated
at a large table. Campers are encouraged to use manners and clean
up after themselves.
