Don’t spill the beans to your parents, but Kanata is all
about you. It’s about making sure you have fun. Giving
you a chance to try new things and make new friends. Helping
you learn more about yourself, and about the world around you.
Mostly what you’ll notice, though, is all the fun – splashing
in the lake, racing down the zip line or jumping off the Blob.
Hitting a bull’s eye, exploring a new trail or inventing
games in your cabin. There’s more than a summer’s
worth of stuff to keep you busy.
So much to do – and so many great people to do it with.
Because around here we have a close-knit community of people
who live, work and play together. We all strive to support each
other, and help everyone do their best. It’s a world of
opportunity – to develop self-confidence, initiative, social
skills, spiritual awareness, resourcefulness and physical and
mental growth. (But don’t tell your folks.)
