Every contribution to the YMCA WeBuildPeople Campaign, no matter the size, helps provide program support and financial assistance to needy families in our area. By working together, we can have an impact that's felt far beyond simple dollars and cents – all the way to the spirit, mind and body of an entire community.

In 2008, we assisted more than 7,000 children and families through 13 YMCA WeBuildPeople Campaigns. At Camp Kanata alone, we were able to serve 250 campers.

But there are even more families asking for our help – parents and children we've had to turn away because we didn't have the resources to meet their needs. Our 2009 goal is to raise $110,000 and help 300 campers.
