In the middle of the last century, a handful of families and supporters transformed 150 acres of dense woods in northern Wake County into a vibrant, nurturing camp. Since then, thousands of people have visited Kanata for a day, a week, a summer – more than 20,000 last year alone – and left better for it.
Now it's time to take a stand for the future. Without philanthropic support, the full potential of Camp Kanata cannot be realized. Without the support of the entire Kanta community, past and present – people like you, willing to act now – it simply won't happen.
Please join us in building something positive. For yourself. For your community. For the next 50 years.
Current Master Plan
We're incredibly excited to see our plans for Camp Kanata come to life. Currently we have a Master Plan that lays out the long-term vision for the future, and we're in the process of developing final detailed plans so we can apply for a Special Use Permit.
Which means that things are about to start moving in earnest. And your participation is more critical than ever. Call or email us to find out more about how you can contribute.
