A three-day, two-night field trip for all second through eighth graders in Tracking Out where they will get to participate in a variety of activities, such as boating, kayaking, canoeing, archery, zip lines, shark tooth hunts, campfires, nature, and sleeping in open-air cabins.



Your child’s Tracking Out counselors and Tracking Out Director will accompany your child on this trip. The YMCA of Garner Tracking Out staff will be leading camp activities such as boating and archery alongside the Camp Seafarer staff. Children will depart from and return to the YMCA of Garner and will ride YMCA buses to camp. (It’s an approximate three-hour trip.) Children will eat all meals at Camp Seafarer and will sleep in camp cabins. Each gender specific cabin will have a YMCA of Garner Tracking Out counselor and a Camp Seafarer counselor assigned at all times.

Registration:	A Health History Form, Signed Consent form and a copy of your child's insurance card are required for your child to attend.
When:	Track 1: September 27-29, 2011 Track 2: will be rescheduled due to Hurricane Irene Track 3: May 8-10, 2012 Track 4: April 10-12, 2012
Fees:	There is no additional cost to attend; however, your child must be enrolled in Tracking Out to participate.
